The EPGY Online High School opened its doors in Fall 2006 after being developed by Stanford University EPGY under a grant from the Malone Family Foundation. In September 2009 a middle school (grades 7-9) was added, once again enabled by Malone funding. OHS further fulfills the Foundation's mission to provide a challenging education for motivated secondary students and particularly complements the Malone Scholars Program by offering an appropriate option for highly capable youth in locations across the country not yet offering a Malone network school. Through advanced technology, rigorous courses, and the resources of Stanford University, the Online High School affords gifted students everywhere an education ideally suited to their needs.
